The Linton Lodge  -

The Linton Lodge No. 9444 meets at the Masonic Hall Harrogate.  We are a young Lodge, only consecrated in 1991, being named after Linton village, near Wetherby, where it met in the village Memorial Hall until 2006 before moving to Harrogate.

Currently the Lodge has 32 members and will be very happy to receive applications from any Brother moving into the area, or from those interested in joining Freemasonry. Contact The Linton Lodge here.

Freemasonry is not a religion, however a belief in a higher being is essential.

We welcome all Freemasons who are members of Lodges recognised by the United Grand Lodge of England.

Freemasonry is a worldwide fraternity which encourages good fellowship, peace, love and harmony with great charitable enterprise. A Freemason would describe Freemasonry as a system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols. This, of course, generates more questions than it gives answers. It  could also be described as a group of men who have dedicated their lives to becoming better men and making their community a better place.

Brethren of The Linton Lodge welcome all traditions, nationalities and religions.

Our regular meetings are held at 6.30pm on the fourth Wednesday in January to May and October to November. Dress code is Dinner Jacket and white gloves.
